From today onwards i've planned to regularly write about my new found passion - Stocks investing. Since a lot of my stock hunches are going right these days, i think it is but natural to start my own blog on this(atleast till the time my stocks picks keep on going great ;) ). This blog i started to write about three years back. But lazy as i am, i stopped posting anything on it. With stock picks and their analysis being easier to write, i think the momentum would not be lost this time.

Coming bak to the original point, any stock pick that i make can be followed by any visitor to the blog free of cost and if at all there are any queries, i wud surely try to answer them to the best of my ability. In case you find that the picks are good, u can refer this blog to your friends. Even if u do not hv the money to invest, which may be the case sometimes, still u can have a look at the picks mentioned and in case they have a longer investment horizon, consider them for picking them up when u get the bucks on you.

Scene I

Outside the chambers of Mediocrity, the sentinels stand unrelaxed
and except the occasional silence, a regular commotion is there
They welcome any visitor with magniloquent smiles
Skin-deep smiles, and their arms drawn aside
the visitor is anassuming , and gets a bit confused
but then saunters in, praising the regining godess inside
And lo.. what a multitudinous sight awaits him there,
millions and milions of his fraternity make him surprised
People who are lying around without any reason beknownst
and the capacious hall's omniosity, makes one's eyes go wide
The walls are draped in purple and the pillars in gilt
and earnest preachers praise the deity's glory undenied
Onto the grand stage , the goddess is royally enthroned
she looks at her complacent subjects with mocking pride
her kingdom stands the largest, she has crushed her arch rivals
The hall's walls are bulilt from the bones, who in that grand war died
She knows that her subjects are slaves to their decadent pleasures
and lavish amounts of indulgence is constantly supplied.
The uncomfortable visitor is hailed by some subjects nearby
and nervously he steps back to the door, his senses unrevived
The guard menacingly close on him, pointing their swords to the banner
"you can enter easily, but leaving is difficult, once you're are inside"

Ramblings.....

you will never know what it is like to be left behind
and to have with u something u thought u would never find
you will never know what it is like to fight a losing war
and win against odds and lose it again, thanks to ur stars
and what it is like
to dream for a 1000 days and have that dream shattered
to cry with the tiniest hope in ur heart n hv that hope battered
to think of somebody far away and still feel them around
to listen in the silence of Night even when there is no sound
to face the crisis even as people make fun of you
and see their puzzled faces, when you have successfully passed through
and you will never know what it was like
when i saw the world and still felt i was just missing it somehow
and my thoughts kept returning to you even as they do so now
when your sad brown eyes shone once for all, like dying out embers
and the fire gave way to elixirs, that gaze i'll always remember
when even though no hope was there,i braced myself to hope again
when i just laughed too much to hide away my pain
and really there is no need to feel what all i have felt
i just want u to be with me when all else have left.

Wrote it way back.... when i was down and out... Still feel sometimes that way.. but as they say ..In the end it doesn't even matter.
When Feynman was a very junior scientist in early 1940s, he still had the good fortune of meeting great scientists like Fermi, Max Planck, de Broglie etc as he was also involved in the Los Alamos project(the project to make the Atomic Bomb in the USA). Now once a meeting was going on and The Great Neils Bohr was explaining some hypothesis of his and almost all those renowned scientists were agreeing, suddenly Feynman put some doubt on the theory. Next day Neil Bohr called him up in the morning and said he wanted to have a chat with him. What actually happened was that Bohr wanted somebody to pick holes in his theory--- but since he was a Nobel prize winner(almost everybody else in the room also was), they were influenced by his genius. So Bohr wanted somebody to listen to him without being overawed by him. Anyways many years later Feynman also joined that elite club---- by winning a nobel prize

A passing thought for today..Journalism and news today are more about creating panic, making heads turn and even drag down to the bizarre just to gain those precious extraaaaa TRP ratings. Well, I feel sometimes that there should be a department for news and happenings so that crappy news channels don’t resort to their two penny investigative/Wellness/Creative/Lifestyle journalism when so much is happening around that will later cause our GRANDCHILDREN to regret why the hell didn’t somebody do something about it…………………..Just read the newspaper today about some jerk's experience about how much she wanted her dad to tell her that he loved her more than her brother.... that she was his"Favourite"and her dad told this 12 years later when she was finally getting married. Wow, what an exhilarating holistic experience for all of INDIA…!!
I feel cheated of the 5 rupees that I had to pay for that Sunday edition
